Other common vaccines

Vaccination against TBE

TBE is a viral disease transmitted to humans via tick bites and can cause severe brain and meningeal inflammation. The disease is prevented through vaccination, and employers can offer vaccines to employees who are at risk of infection in their work environment.

Most people who contract TBE are infected during the summer, but the tick season can last from as early as March to as late as November. To get sufficient protection, it is advisable to get vaccinated before the tick season begins.

Hepatitis A+B vaccine

Hepatitis is a viral disease that damages the liver and comes in different variants. At Falck, you can get vaccinated against Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B.

Vaccination is recommended for people who have an increased risk of becoming infected or an increased risk of suffering from severe illness due to Hepatitis A and B. It is also recommended for longer trips to an area where the risk of infection is greater than in Sweden.

Tetanus vaccine

Tetanus is a serious wound infection caused by bacteria. Vaccination against tetanus is included in the general vaccination program and needs to be boosted every 20 years.

Falck offers the combination vaccine diphtheria-tetanus. Vaccination is a common measure to prevent and reduce infection and is recommended for employees who risk being infected by diphtheria and tetanus in their work.

Vaccination for companies

As an employer, you can offer vaccination to employees who are at risk of infection in the work environment. Vaccination is a common measure to prevent and reduce microbiological occupational health risks.

Falck is located all over the country and the vaccination is usually carried out at your nearest unit. Periodically, we also offer local drop-in times. If more employees are to be vaccinated at the same time, you can agree to hold the vaccination at your workplace.
