Health check when working with vibrating tools or machines according to Section 23 of the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on Medical checks at work (AFS 2019:3).

The statutory health check-up is aimed at employees who are exposed to vibration and it complies with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on Medical checks at work (AFS 2019:3).

The purpose of the health examination is to detect possible diseases and injuries that may increase the risk of vibration damage.

How it works

  1. Booked health check with questionnaire
    Once you have ordered the service, your employee will be booked for a health check-up. The time is communicated in an email to your employee and to you as the orderer. In the email there is a questionnaire attached that your employee should fill out before the visit.

  2. Occupational health physician
    The employee makes a visit to a occupational health physician who does a health check-up that includes circulation, muscles and joints.

  3. A medical certificate is issued
    A medical certificate is issued to the employee and sent to you as the responsible orderer.

Simplified check-up every other time

The check-up must be carried out before the employees begin their work for the first time. Thereafter, the check-up must be performed regularly at intervals of no more than 3 years. Every other examination, but not the first, may be replaced by a simplified health check-up or a questionnaire intended for screening of vibration damage. The simplified check-up is carried out by a occupational health nurse.
