This health check-up is based on the Swedish Transport Agency's regulation on health check-up and health status of staff with duties relevant to road safety (TSFS 2019:112).

The survey shall be carried out at the following intervals:

• Before the work starts
• Every five years until the day before the age of 41
• Every three years from the age of 41 to the age of 62
• Every year after the age of 62

The health examination shall also be carried when:

• an employee has been absent for more than 30 days
• an employee is removed from duty due to accident/incident

In order for the occupational health physician to know what health requirements the candidate is facing, you must inform us in the order the employee's duties and what the work entails. You must also be able to specify which items within section 8 the employee works within:

• Driving vehicles
• Lead or monitor rail services (e.g. train dispatcherli, train conductor, chief supervisor)
• Assess the road safety of vehicles or track installations (e.g. surveyor, signal safety inspector)
• Otherwise, operate and work on tracks according to the operator's safety management system (e.g. train officer, traffic assistant, supervisor with A, E, L or S protection)

How it works

1. Order service When the service is ordered, the employee is booked for a health examination. The time is announced by e-mail to the employee with a copy to you as the orderer.
2. Health examination The employee must bring any glasses recipes/optician certificates and/or hearing aids for the visit. The visit includes sampling and medical examination.
3. Medical opinion The Oocupational health physician issue a medical opinion. The statement will be sent to you as the orderer in accordance with the agreement in the order. If the employee cannot return to the service, you will be informed immediately.
