Counselling Occupational Health Nurse and Physician

If your employee has medical problems that affect work, it is important that the right measures are taken. These may include mental disorders, respiratory problems or pain in the musculoskeletal system that are perceived to be related to the work environment. We offer you as a manager support through counselling with a occupational health nurse or physician.

Important for you as an employer

As an employer you are responsible for ensuring that the work and the workplace are ergonomically well designed and that the employee has the opportunity to influence how his/hers own work is planned and implemented so that there is sufficient movement variation and recovery. Working conditions must also be examined and assessed in order to prevent ill-health and accidents.

How it works

1. Describe your needs 
   When ordering the service, it is important that you describe what questions and needs there are – and for whom the advice relates. Choose whether you want to see a occupational health nurse or occupational health physician on site, have a telephone counselling or an online counselling via video call. When the service is ordered, times and instructions are notified via email and sms.
   
   
2. Counselling
   During the counselling, the nurse or physician adresses the employee's problems. During the call, an assessment is made about the problem and you get suggestions on how to handle the situation.
   
   
3. Suggestions for continued action
   Once the initial call is completed, feedback is made to you as the orderer. The feedback clarifies what can and needs to be done for your employee to maintain or regain their work ability. If the employee's troubles fall outside the competence of occupational health, advice and guidance are given where to turn.
