The training is based on AFS 2023:2 and is aimed at all employees at all workplaces. It is a more extensive training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation that also includes first aid. The training is tailored to your organisation and is held on your premises.
What it is
The training takes four hours and gives theoretical and practical competence to assess whether a person has suffered a cardiac arrest, perform correct cardiopulmonary resuscitation with a semi-automatic defibrillator and care for a person suffering from respiratory arrest. The course content consists of practical exercises and theory in the following subjects:
General principles in First Aid
Cases of illness
Injuries and accident
Mental reactions
Identify a cardiac arrest
Alarm 112, as well as knowledge of the emergency operator's supporting role
Perform CPR
Start the defibrillator and follow instructions
Be motivated to start CPR in the event of a cardiac arrest
Place an unconscious person in a stable lateral position
Identify airway obstruction, perform back blows and abdominal thrusts
Perform CPR on a supine or unconscious person with respiratory arrest
Understand the importance of regular exercise
Training packages include, among other things, a practice mannequin that facilitates repetition at the workplace or at home.
