The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of SSFMS 2018:1 and applies to employees who are exposed to ionizing radiation in their work and belong to category A.
What it is
Statutory Checkup - Ionizing Radiationis a health check-up done to determine if employees are at risk of injury from exposure to ionizing radiation. After the check-up, a Certificate for service is issued.
Time interval
Before start of new employment
After that every third year
The employer is responsible for ensuring that the medical check-ups are done with the right periodicity.
How it works
Order service After ordered service, the employee is booked in for a visit and an invitation is sent.
Health declaration The employee fills in a health declaration which is brought to the visit.
Visit During the visit, the employee undergoes a medical examination and sampling.
Feedback Based on the statutory check-up, a Certificate for service is sent to specified recipient via secure e-mail.
