The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of AFS 1990: 11 and applies to employees who are exposed to ionizing radiation in their work and belong to category A. Before you order the service, you need to carry out a risk assessment.
What it is
Statutory Check-up – Laboratory Animals are made to detect possible allergies or hypersensitivity to animals in the workplace. After the check-up, we issue a certificate for service.
When it should be done
Before start of new employment
In case of symptoms
Employees with allergies or hypersensitivity should be offered the check-up periodically. How often is determined in consultation with doctors.
The employer is responsible for ensuring that the medical check-ups are offered with the right periodicity.
How it works
Carry out risk assessment Before you order the service, you must carry out a risk assessment in order to identify the specific work situation and any risks.
Order service Fill in information from the risk assessment in the order form. When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee.
Visit During the visit, a health examination is carried out. Sampling and medical examination with possible referral to a specialist is done if necessary.
Certificate A certificate is handed to the employee who then forwards it to you as orderer.
