The statutory check-up complies with the legal requirements of TSFS 2019:112 and applies to new employees who will work on railways and perform safety-critical tasks.
What it is
Statutory CheckUp – Railway, First examination is a medical and psychological assessment of new employees' suitability to perform safety-critical tasks. After the check-up, we will issue a medical statement. You need to specify in the free text field in the order form which parts within 8§ the new employee will work with:
Driving vehicles
Managing or monitoring rail services (e.g. signallers, train conductors, head supervisors)
Assess the road safety of vehicles or track installations (e.g. inspector, signal safety inspector)
Operate and work on tracks according to the operator's safety management system (e.g. train commander, traffic officer, supervisor with A, E, L or S protection)

How it works
Order service State the work duties of the employee in the order form. When you have ordered the service, your employee is booked in for the check-up. The time is communicated in a text message to the employee.
Visit The visit consists of a general medical examination including a health declaration, ECG, drug test and sampling.
Certificate A medical statement is issued by the doctor.
Feedback The statement is sent in accordance with what was determined in the order. If the employee is not fit to work, you will be informed immediately.
