As an employee, you can book an appointment for the issuance of a first-day certificate from the first day of sick leave.

Online with nurse – do the following
- Report your sick leave to your employer in accordance with the regular procedure for reporting sickness.
- Contact Falck via the "Drop-in online" button, or through our mobile app "Falck Online". BankID is required.

EVENING/NIGHT: Weekdays 14:00–16:00
WEEKEND: Weekends 08:00–09:00
Information about what your employer has decided for you has been sent by email from Falck: "First day certificate – Information about issuance" - Wait for your turn in the digital waiting room. During the visit, an assessment will be made of whether you are fully or partially unable to work for medical reasons.
- A written assessment (first day certificate) is sent to you and your manager via secure e-mail, or handled according to procedures agreed with your employer.
To keep in mind
- Webcam and microphone should be turned on.
- Make sure there is good light in the room. Turn on a lamp and/or light from windows.
- In case of fever, have access to a fever thermometer. You need to be prepared to take the fever and show results during the conversation.
- Be dressed as for a physical visit. However, you may need to show, for example, a swollen knee or difficulty walking in order to receive an accurate assessment.

Online with physician – do the following
- Report your sick leave to your employer in accordance with the regular procedure for reporting sickness.
- Contact us between 08:00–10:00 and 14:00–16:00 on weekdays.
- After registration, you will receive an invitation via SMS for an online visit during the day.
- Log on to the visit through the link in the invitation. During the visit, an assessment will be made to determine if you are unable to work, fully or partially, for medical reasons.
- A written assessment (first-day certificate) will be sent to you and your manager via secure email, or handled according to routines agreed upon with your employer.

Physical visit – do the following
- Report your sick leave to your employer in accordance with the regular procedure for reporting sickness.
- Contact us before 10:00 AM, on weekdays, for an appointment the same day.
- After registration, you will receive an invitation via SMS for a physical visit. If there are no available appointments, on the same day at the selected unit, you can be booked at another nearby unit.
- Bring your ID with you to the visit. During the visit, an assessment will be made to determine if you are unable to work, fully or partially, for medical reasons.
- A written assessment (first-day certificate) will be sent to you and your manager via secure email, or handled according to routines agreed upon with your employer.
